The story of Crook is about a young man called Jai {Emraan Hashmi} who lives by mantra – it’s good to be bad. Due to a shocking childhood happening, Jai has an ability of getting into trouble with his criminal activities. Jai’s uncle gives him a new identity as Suraj and makes him move to Australia with a promise that he’ll stay away from trouble. In his pursuit to acquire permanent residency Jai attempts to make Suhani (Neha Sharma) fall in love with him and at the same time kept flirting with an Australian girl as well. However problem follows Jai when Racist attacks on Indians spread across the city and now Jai stands at crossroads where he has to decide whether its good to be bad or Good to be good.
